    Description

    We are looking for an experienced individual who is passionate about our clients' happiness and safety.

  • Creative and innovative in planning with people weekly calendar of activities that are meaning to clients.
  • Communicating with community clubs and recreational groups for our people to access and enjoy
  • Booking events that goes with our country's national events and support people to participate in the events
  • Planning visits to places of interest and organising events for people to enjoy the day service facility
  • Developing people's talents and supporting them to prepare for work – paid or unpaid
  • Planning, cooking, baking, computer sessions with people so they learn some basic skills
  • Providing updates and communicating about new and existing clients who are attending our day services with line manager.
  • De-escalating or managing behaviour that is challenging in clients
  • Arranging transport for clients and ensuring client are on time
  • Documenting care and support , completing incident forms and reporting to line manager.
  • Completing ABC forms with staff
  • Working with line manager to ensure quality auditing is achieving responsiveness sand safety for clients
  • Ensuring health and safety is maintained with staff and for clients when in the day service when accessing the community.
  • Inducting new staff and supervising existing ensuring quality support is provided to clients
  • Role modelling and providing direct support to clients that includes transport.
  • Adapting changing ways of working and proactively work to meet business and clients' needs.

    • Pay:

    £12.05/hr

    Full or Part time

    Qualifications:

    Senior carer or higher
    PBS experience
    Driving with business insurance
