Job Description
I am looking to hire a Business Development Director at Eebz, who will be responsible for driving business growth through developing a network of contacts to attract new clients, research new market opportunities and oversee growth projects.
You will build an extensive knowledge of all Eebz products and processes, coupled with an in-depth understanding of each prospect/client, including their needs, challenges and future requirements.
Communication and having a finger on the pulse of each prospect/client is paramount to the success of this role.
As a leader, you will be driven to achieve sales goals and should have excellent sales and customer service skills.
Duties & responsibilities will include:
•\tResearch and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services or new ways of reaching existing markets
•\tSeek out the appropriate contact in an organisation
•\tGenerate new business opportunities through emails, events and your own network
•\tArrange business meetings with prospective clients
•\tCreate strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities
•\tBuild relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs
•\tUnderstand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan how to meet these
•\tCreate tailored sales pitches to new clients
•\tAttend conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and stay up to date with new trends.
•\tCreate sales forecasts and actively work towards reaching them
•\tPossess a strong understanding of the company's products, the competition in the industry and positioning
•\tThink strategically – see the bigger picture and set aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
•\tKeep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
•\tOversight of HubSpot to ensure all key personnel are always able to monitor the sales pipeline.
•\tLine management of Business Development Manager(s), external sales consultants and other staff
Key skills & qualifications required:
•\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
•\tConfidence and ability to understand and adapt to customer needs
•\tBe a self-starter and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
•\tStrong organisational skills
•\tLine management experience
•\tPreference for bachelor's degree in business management, communications or similar
•\tPrevious business development experience either within SaaS or consumer electronics and/ or gaming sectors.

This position is in a start-up and requires an energetic, proactive, resilient and hard-working individual that thrives when given ownership in fast-paced environments.
Reporting to: Chief Revenue Officer
Contract type: Permanent
Working hours: full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00–17:00)
