    In this role, you'll lead the charge in driving sales for our cutting-edge product lineup, spanning RFID and Biometrics technologies (Fingerprint & Facial Recognition) and barcode and ID document readers across the United Kingdom, Ireland, and the Nordics.

    We're seeking a dynamic go-getter to serve as the driving force within this pivotal EMEA sub-region for HID Extended Access Technologies. Your mission?

    As our Regional Sales Manager , you'll support HID's success by:

    • Achieve Sales Quotas: Take full accountability for meeting and surpassing sales quotas allocated to the region, actively driving revenue growth and market expansion initiatives.
    • Strategic Business Development: Identify and capitalise on future opportunities to acquire new customers and generate revenue within targeted industries and end-user segments.
    • Business Planning and Execution: Develop and implement robust business plans tailored to the unique demands of the UK&I and Nordic markets, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
    • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain a strong presence in the UK&I and Nordics regions, fostering enduring relationships with resellers, systems integrators, and end-users to drive sustained business growth.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal departments such as Operations, Marketing Communications, Product Management, and Engineering to ensure seamless coordination and delivery aligned with customer expectations.
    • Solution Development: Work closely with the Pre-sales team to understand customer operational requirements and craft tailored solution configurations that effectively address specific needs.
    • Market Insights and Feedback: Deeply understand regional market dynamics and customer needs, providing valuable insights and feedback to inform product marketing, product management, and sales strategies.
    • Territory Management: Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory to nurture existing customer relationships, cultivate new partnerships, and explore untapped business opportunities.
    • Event Coordination: Coordinate participation in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events to showcase products, build brand visibility, and network with industry stakeholders.
    • Industry Engagement: Participate in industry-related associations, events, and forums to stay abreast of market trends, gain local industry knowledge, and expand professional networks.
    • Reporting and Documentation: Ensure timely submission of comprehensive reports, expense reports, and other relevant documentation as required by senior management.

    Education and/or Experience:

    • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in business development and/or technical sales, preferably within the technology sector.
    • Minimum BS Degree – preferably Engineering or Computer Science.
    • MBA - Marketing or Business preferred.
    • Proven track record in sales, with a solid understanding of RFID technologies and their sales process; familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Authentication credential technologies is advantageous.
    • Strong expertise in AIDC and Identity Verification technologies, including ID document reading and validation, is highly desirable.
    • Existing network of relevant channel partners and integrators is a plus.
    • Deep knowledge of at least one key vertical market, such as finance, healthcare, retail/point of sale, or enterprise.
