    Product Assistant

    Salary £22,476 to £25,000

    6-month FTC

    FT – 35 hours per week

    Hybrid – Home and Hub, London

    Closing date 19th May 2024

    Saga Money a growing and exciting business within Saga. Offering tailor-made financial products to our customers such as savings, investments and mortgages. The busy Product Team within Saga Money is keen to appoint an assistant on a FTC which could possibly be extended beyond the 6 month period.

    Why do we need you right now? Due to the initial growth of the Saga Money product portfolio, the product team are looking for more administrative support. You will be responsible for acting as a contact point for third-party providers and business partners, and for providing ongoing administrative support to the Head of Product.

    It's a varied role where you will be essentially managing the Saga Personal Finance inbox and responding to our customers enquiries as well as overseeing the market, monitoring financial press reviews of our products. Plus, so much more, such as assisting with the presentation packs for MI.

    You will be joining an innovative department which is always looking to create new propositions that truly meet the needs of our customers, so a genuine interest in financial services and a keenness to think creatively about product development would be advantageous.

    You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the products and services we provide to our customers are delivered to the highest quality, and you will therefore be expected to continually monitor and help drive customer satisfaction. You should also have good organisation and time management skills and, above all, be a true team player.

    *Candidates applying will need to be in a commutable distance to ensure they are able to visit one of the Saga Hubs to work on a Hybrid basis. Our hubs are in King Cross, London and Ashford, Kent. Occasionally you may get the opportunity to visit some of our prestigious partners offices.

    Role Responsibility

  • Providing assistance to the Head of Product, to include various administration tasks.
  • Acting as a point of contact for both external third-party providers and customer contacts.
  • Collating MI and producing reporting packs for internal and external meetings.
  • Monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on product performance, third-party SLAs, and customer outcomes.
  • Completing your work within service standards.
  • Assisting the management of complaints processes and to assist investigation into customer complaints.
  • Assisting the Product Team with project work to agreed time, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Working within all regulatory frameworks and corporate governance, having due regard for relevant statutory authorities and requirements – e.g. FCA, GDPR, ICO.
  • Forming really strong, persuasive working relationships with our third-party providers, to ensure we are getting the very best service and support from them at all times.
