    About the role

    The Housing Options Service is looking to recruit an Operations Manager who will be responsible for the development, procurement, and management of the temporary accommodation portfolio in accordance with best practice, ensuring a sufficient supply, efficient allocation, and management of accommodation for the prevention and relief of homelessness in accordance with statutory requirements and powers.

    You will lead on income recovery and write-offs, ensuring best practice, achieving a high collection rate, and reducing rent arrears to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

    You will provide new ideas on how to improve the service on a strategic level.

    You need to be a confident, experienced, and adaptable self-starter, able to work proactively and on your own initiative. You will have the experience and ability to develop and deliver a range of housing management services.
