    ERA-co is a new global experience consultancy made up of data scientists, strategists and experience designers who lead transformative strategy to shape cities, neighborhoods and destinations to positively impact the lives of people and the places they inhabit. With offices in New York, Melbourne, Sydney and London, our collective operates in the rare space between creativity and consulting.

    Our clients & projects range from branding single residential buildings to positioning and leading experiences of major urban masterplans, mixed-use developments, and globally famous civic places. While the work is diverse, they all start from a singular belief; that transformative placemaking has the power to advance humanity.

    We are assembled into four distinct verticals; Brand Experience, User Strategy, Urban Systems and Productions. Working as one group we are always on the lookout for people who can flex between these disciplines, who are aligned with our brand and passionate about shaping the culture of places.

    You are ready to branch out and embrace the challenge of building/leading a Strategy team from scratch. Recognizing we are a start up, you happily pitch in, roll up your sleeves and are not afraid of getting your hands dirty.

    • You demonstrate good business sense in thinking like a client, consumer, and competitor.
    • You're able to work across multiple clients, brands, timelines and deliverables at once, thriving on the diversity of the work and global nature of the business.
    • In the presence of ambiguity, you take initiative to gain clarity and create a path forward.

    The ERA-co EME Strategy Director role requires you to;

    • Partner directly with the Creative Director and Regional Director for ERA-co EME and report to the VP, Strategy of the ERA-co Brand Experience.
    • Work with the Regional Director to establish ERA-co EME as a leading strategic advisor on all matters placemaking. Working together to grow the brand in the region.
    • Develop strategic processes and help grow the strategic capabilities of ERA-co.
    • Become a trusted advisor to key, senior-level clients and help manage projects and grow business organically.
    • Collect, read, analyze, interpret and synthesize information from a variety of sources and develop compelling POVs that are based on a consumer and/or cultural truth.
    • Flex between strategy & creative disciplines. One day you'll be conducting stakeholder interviews, while the next may see you writing a creative script or manifesto.
    • As you build the team in the early days you will be responsible for day to day client deliverables, from strategy reports to presentation decks.
    • Be a natural-born storyteller & a keynote savant.
    • Mix it up. Brand, Social, Digital, Experiential and beyond.
    • Articulate a point of view on work. Understand how art direction shapes creative. Help prepare and present the work as required.

    Your Experience:

    • 10+ years' experience in an Advertising/Brand agency or consultancy with a strong client-facing role
    • Some of that experience must be within the Real Estate or Placemaking arena.
