    This is our role as

    Director of Sales (EMEA) for goal andsuccessoriented people.Tasks in theroleBuild a highperformance inputdriventeam

    • Start with a team of 45 managersand 40 reps. Continue to grow and expand this team by hiringadditional leadership members and individualcontributors.
    • Attract hire and retain top salestalent.
    • Provide effective mentoring andcoaching to direct reports and enable them to coach theirteams.
    • Foster skill development and cultivate astrong talent pipeline within the team.
    • Developand execute strategic plans for sales revenue territories accountsand individual sales representatives.
    • Implementsales programs and tools to enhance performance andproductivity.

    Drive significantrevenue growth

    • Formulate a country& segment coverage strategy specifically for key EMEAmarkets.
    • Create a plan to expand our customersacross our product base and platform. This plan should focus onclient needs and solving problems through ourofferings.
    • Lead the sales management processand actively contribute to driving sales and generating newbusiness opportunities.
    • Build upon pastsuccesses to further expand revenueopportunities.

    Promote productinnovation by understanding customer and industry trends andrepresenting them within Semrush to deliver a compelling valueproposition

    • Collaborate with Semrushsproduct and operations team to shape country vertical segment andproduct development strategies.
    • Work closelywith internal teams to provide the necessary infrastructure toolstraining and support required for the success of the EMEA salesteam

    RequirementsWhowe are looking for

    • Highly motivatedselfstarter with the ability to work in complexenvironments.
    • Proven history of working well inglobal teams across an organization.
    • Five plusyears of sales leadership and management experience with two ofthose as secondline.
    • Demonstrated success inbuilding and leading teams selling in MidMarket and Enterprise SaaSenvironments.
    • Experience in hiring coaching anddeveloping a geographically distributed team and managing in avirtual environment.
    • Analytical mindset andapproach to sales leadership.
    • In addition toEnglish as a second language we prefer: French German orDutch.

    TheDirector of Sales is a key leadershipposition responsible for driving sales growth and developing ahighperforming sales organization in the EMEA region. This rolereports directly to the Vice President of Sales for EMEA &APAC and will play a critical role in driving revenue generationbuilding GTM infrastructure and building a highperformanceculture.

    The ideal candidate for the Director ofsales role is an experienced secondline sales leader known fortheir ability to attract and nurture top talent. They have a proventrack record of achieving outstanding sales results collaboratingeffectively across functions and effectively advocating for clientneeds to the product organization. This candidate possessesexceptional analytical thinking skills and likely comes from aprominent online firm or technologyenabled organization. They havea strong history of developing and implementing successful salesstrategies tactics plans processes systems and programs.
