    Nach über einem Jahrzehnt wird in Deutschland wieder ein Formel-1-Antrieb gebaut: hier bei Audi. Als ich hörte, dass sich Audi in der Formel 1 engagiert, war für mich klar: Da will ich dabei sein. Ich will einen Job, in dem mein Herz steckt und das ist nun mal der Rennsport. Mit unserem Engagement in der Formel 1 werden wir beweisen, wie leistungsfähig elektrifizierte Antriebe und nachhaltige, innovative Kraftstoffe sind. Was ich an meinem Job liebe, ist die Leidenschaft, die uns verbindet. Motorsport ist nicht nur unser Job, Motorsport ist unser Leben. Wir sind hier alle zusammen ein Team und wir haben das gleiche Ziel: die Elektrifizierung in der Formel 1 voranbringen.

    Die Formel ist für uns Wettbewerb und anspruchsvolles Entwicklungslabor zugleich. Die Transformation zur Elektrifizierung auf höchstem Niveau wird in unserem Motorsport-Engagement konsequent umgesetzt. Neuburg, wo das Kompetenz-Center Motorsport ist, gehört zu den modernsten Standorten von Audi. Besonders in Bezug auf Nachhaltigkeit. Das Gelände wird mit Fernwärme aus Industrieabwärme und Ökostrom aus Wasserkraftwerken versorgt. Die FIA hat dem Standort mit dem Drei-Sterne-Umwelt-Prüfsiegel die höchste Auszeichnung für Umweltschutz und Nachhaltigkeit verliehen.

    Wir suchen immer gute, motivierte Leute, die mit uns arbeiten wollen. Beim Aufbau eines Teams, das die Elektrifizierung in der Formel 1 voranbringen will, haben wir viele internationale Bewerbungen. Ich spreche mit Menschen aus Italien, England, Frankreich und Japan. Ich schaue, dass ich die richtigen Leute fürs Team finde. Und ich kümmere mich darum, dass sie sich bei uns wohlfühlen.
