    Description

    Our client is a Garment and accessory supplier to the high street. They are currently recruiting a recent Maths or Finance Graduate to assist the business on a project on a 6 month temp contract. The role will be to assist with generating reports using business intelligence software and turn the data into useful recommendations and actions. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and understand all areas of reporting within a B2B environment, whilst working closely with teams across the company to provide clear data to assist with daily decision making. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, diverse, and dynamic organisation which is the largest in its sector during a very exciting period of growth.

    Graduate Data Analyst - The Role:

    • Updating system process map and keeping this up to date with all changes.
    • Testing using UAT checklists. Need these per area to ensure can allocate to wider business/ super users for implementation following major changes.
    • Ensuring all users are confident in the system.
    • Problem solving with users for training gaps.
    • Creation of tools, systems, and processes for all users to be efficient.
    • Mapping all scenarios that require testing based on issues
    • Creating and updating user manuals as needed.
    • Support the Finance team to scope and deliver on regular and ad hoc reporting requirements.
    • Liaise with wider business on system and reporting requirements.
    • Exceptions reports – to run every week to review system information / highlight blank information / poor data and identify system inaccuracies and escalate as needed.

    Graduate Data Analyst - The Candidate:

    • Finance or Mathematics Graduate looking for commercial experience.
    • Highly organised
    • Ability to work under pressure & cope with tight deadlines
    • Attention to detail
    • Proactive approach
