    Job Description: Social Media Manager, Podcast Producer/Content Editor, and Writer for The Beyond Football PodcastPosition Overview

    The Beyond Football Podcast is seeking a dynamic and creative professional to join our team in a multifaceted role encompassing Social Media Management, Podcast Production/Content Editing, and Writing. This individual will be responsible for enhancing our online presence, ensuring high-quality podcast production, and creating engaging written content. The ideal candidate will have a passion for football, strong technical skills, and a keen eye for detail.

    1. Social Media ManagerKey Responsibilities
    • Content Creation and Strategy:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement.
    • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written, and audio) across social media platforms.
    • Design and execute social media campaigns to promote podcast episodes, events, and other relevant content.
    • Community Management:
    • Engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
    • Build and maintain relationships with followers, influencers, and industry professionals.
    • Monitor and report on social media performance using analytics tools.
    • Brand Consistency:
    • Ensure all social media content aligns with The Beyond Football Podcast's brand identity and voice.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
    Requirements
    • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
    • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media best practices.
    • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Knowledge of football and interest in sports is a plus.
    2. Podcast Producer/Content EditorKey Responsibilities
    • Podcast Production:
    • Manage the end-to-end production process of podcast episodes, including recording, editing, mixing, and mastering audio.
    • Coordinate with hosts, guests, and other stakeholders to schedule and record interviews.
    • Ensure high-quality audio production and troubleshoot any technical issues.
    • Content Editing:
    • Edit podcast episodes for clarity, conciseness, and engagement while maintaining the original message and tone.
    • Add intros, outros, music, and sound effects to enhance the listening experience.
    • Ensure timely delivery of final podcast episodes.
    • Publishing and Distribution:
    • Upload and distribute podcast episodes across all major platforms (e.g., Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts).
    • Write and publish show notes, episode descriptions, and other related content.
    Requirements
    • Proven experience in podcast production and audio editing.
    • Proficiency with audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition, GarageBand).
    • Strong organizational and project management skills.
    • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of football and interest in sports is a plus.
    3. WriterKey Responsibilities
    • Content Creation:
    • Research, write, and edit compelling blog posts, articles, and social media content related to the podcast and football industry.
    • Develop written content for promotional materials, email newsletters, and website updates.
    • Create engaging show notes and episode descriptions that capture the essence of each podcast episode.
    • Editorial Strategy:
    • Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and develop new content ideas that align with the brand's voice and objectives.
    • Ensure all written content is accurate, engaging, and SEO-friendly.
    • Brand Voice and Consistency:
    • Maintain a consistent brand voice across all written materials.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate relevant topics into the content strategy.
    Requirements
    • Proven experience as a Writer, Content Creator, or similar role.
    • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
    • Strong understanding of SEO and content marketing.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Knowledge of football and interest in sports is a plus.
    General Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
    • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Passion for football and the sports industry.
