Description
Our client is on the cutting edge of fulfilment shipping over 1 million individual orders from their site in Northamptonshire and they are currently looking to recruit a Carrier Manager to support their continued growthLead daily and weekly performance and proactively manage you Carrier's performance through KPI analysis, cost control and strategic thinking to ensure you are maximising carrier performance and securing SLA requirements.
Hold regular review sessions with carriers providing performance feedback and driving efficiencies and improvement for the operations team.Report all exceptions i.e. late collection /delivery - Communication to Customer release and follow up teams.
Work closely with other areas of the account to secure best practice initiatives and deliver into the UK operation while delivering on transformation plans and maximising digitalisation across the carrier network.
Investigate, manage and resolve any incident and potential claims from the customer that involves 3rd party carriers.You will also have a full understanding of pricing structures having previously work closely with UK parcel delivery companies.
Some EU travel will be required sporadically to meet with other delivery centres.If you are interested in this position, please apply online with your CV.
