    Operations Manager | Hybrid | London

    An exciting opportunity has arisen within a global event business. As a Operations Manager you'll be working across a cutting edge portfolio of Confex style events, in industries such as retail and energy. As an Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimising the delivery of key events and provide strategic leadership in day-to-day operations.

    The Role

    • Manage the operational delivery of 4-6 events
    • Day to day management of Senior Operations Executives and Assistants
    • Working closely with the MD to ensure events are meeting requirements and remain commercially successful.
    • Manage event operations budgets and forecasting, ensuring all events are delivered within budget.
    • Developing strong relationships with key supplier and partners
    • Developing and compiling Health and Safety plans for events
    • Drive and monitor event operations performance against stated objectives.
    • Be the go-to expert for all operational event related enquiries.

    Required Experience

    • Experience delivering large scale complex events. (conferences and exhibitions)
    • Budget management, financial management and projection skills
    • Proven record of developing industry relationships with clients and peers, vendors, and business partners
    • Ability to perform and succeed in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
    • Management experience, including supervising and training staff.
