- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years experience managing commercial operations and projects in the biotech, pharma, or medical device industry; experience managing strategic alliances and/or distributors preferred
- 5+ years experience in a regional/national market access or commercial role with exposure to market access projects in the biotech, pharma, or medical device industry
- Experience of supporting launches in rare disease and/or specialty pharma strongly preferred
- Ability to lead teams without authority.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and decision-making ability
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a regional, cross-functional, matrix organization.
- Strong command of MS office, SmartSheet, and other commonly used productivity tools
- Fluent in English, and ideally one additional major European language and/or Chinese

Reporting into the Senior Director International Strategic Alliances and Market Access the Manager, Market Access and Strategic Alliances, will play a key role in managing operations, processes, and projects for international strategic alliances and distributor markets, and the International Market Access and Pricing (IMAP) team to ensure rapid, comprehensive, and sustained patient access to Mallinckrodt's current and future therapies based on a deep understanding of payer, clinician, and patient needs.

Strategic alliances and distributor markets
Operations management: Develop, implement, manage, and optimize the governance for strategic alliances and partnerships across organizations and functions, including:
Contract management
Periodic meetings and business reviews (i.e., internal/external)
Pricing & credit term management
Supply chain management
Process management: Develop, implement, manage, and optimize core processes for strategic alliances and distributor markets across organizations and functions, including:
Opportunity/partner assessment and due diligence
Financial and demand forecasting
Budget management
Warranty and after sales process management
Distributor sales training
Project management: Manage a cross functional team of subject matter experts to implement projects and initiatives for international distributor markets, with a focus on North-East Asia and Latin America, including:
Product registration and launch
Label and reimbursement expansion
International Market Access and Pricing
Process management: Work with IMAP, cross functional, and external stakeholders to execute critical market access processes, including.
IMAP governance: Develop and maintain the tools and infrastructure to monitor performance vs. IMAP goals & objectives and facilitate team and XF meetings, including:
IMAP SharePoint ownership
SmartSheet project management and reporting infrastructure
Annual business planning lead & workshop support
Treatment context mapping: Ensure information and data to map the market access landscape across indications is up to date and available as a basis for decision making, including:
Market potential and disease burden models
Access decision flow and requirements mapping
Access options mapping
Value messages and communications channel development: Translate differentiated clinical, economic, humanistic value of therapeutic assets into targeted messages and manage the dissemination across multiple channels.
IMAP tools development: Develop and maintain, and manage the internal approval process, for tools to interact with payers, HCPs, and in support of customer facing teams, incl.:
Payer value propositions
HTA dossiers
Budget impact models
Project management: Manage a cross functional team of subject matter experts to implement projects and initiatives for IMAP across international markets including:
Reimbursement projects
Development of tools and infrastructure as needed
Strategic projects as needed (e.g., commercial ad-boards, early payer advice, etc.)

Working Conditions:
This role can either be based remotely in Europe (within limits of Mallinckrodt jurisdictions) or in our UK office in Staines-upon-Thames. The incumbent will be required to travel occasionally within Europe and internationally.
