    Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood is working with a well renowned and highly regarded firm of chartered accountants in Loughborough who are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager / Client Manager to join their team.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to join an illustrious and modern firm in Loughborough where there will be genuine scope for further career development.

    As an Accounts Manager / Client Manager, your role will involve managing a diverse portfolio of clients spanning a wide array of business sectors.

    The focus of the role will be on ensuring the provision of statutory accounts, tax compliance, and management information to your clients.

    You will primarily be reviewing work produced by junior members of the team, but it may also include the preparation of accounts in for more complex cases.

    Aside from the client management aspect of the role, you will report to the partners in the office and will be responsible for managing and assisting in the development of junior staff which will include providing support to them where necessary as well as delegating and reviewing their work.

    The ideal candidate will be ACCA / ACA Qualified with strong and varied general practice experience. This opportunity offers excellent prospects for further career development within an already established and prominent East Midlands firm.
    Review of Statutory Accounts and Management Accounts
    Review of tax computations and returns
    Supporting the partners and clients with any bespoke queries and ad hoc project work as required
    Take responsibility for your own billing, and managing your own workload and that of the team in a timely and efficient manner, while all the time ensuring we exceed client expectations
    ACCA / ACA Qualified
    Client management experience
    Staff management experience
