The Sales Development team is the first point of contact with prospective Oktopost customers.As Oktopost's newest Outbound Sales Development Manager, you'll get to build, coach, and lead a skilled team that focuses on targeting and creatively prospecting into our ideal customer profile.
Using your operational rigor, emphasis on a problem-centric sales approach with data-driven decision-making, and servant leadership, you'll empower your team to become masters of their prospecting craft.
Leading with account strategy, and building a robust pipeline.At its core, this role will implement a creative Outbound strategy with the goal of engaging with our customers of tomorrow.
Hire, coach, and manage a team of Sales Development Reps through a repeatable data-driven process.Take ownership of the SDR playbook, incorporating best practices for a personalized, account-based approach to prospecting
Deliver group and 1-1 best practices coaching sessions across multiple sales channels
Create a high-performance environment that enables SDRs to continuously improve
Continuously look to improve the BD function, keep a keen eye on improvements across best practices, processes, and productivity
Work closely with Marketing and Sales to ensure alignment in the Outbound strategy
Work closely with Sales Enablement to ensure relevant tools and content support the SDR team
2+ years in Software sales as an individual contributor & manager
~ Experience building and scaling a team from the ground up
~ Able to demonstrate a strong data-driven approach to work practice and performance improvement.
~ A team player both in and out of the office.
~ Experience managing and improving Sales Development KPIs
