- The School Business Manager ensures a high standard of business practices within the school's administrative operations, optimizing resources to enhance the learning objectives.
- Contribute to the school's financial strategy development and implementation to align with the strategic and operational plans.
- Efficient management of all facilities on-site.
- Provide valuable advice to the Senior Leadership Team on business-related matters for the school's successful operation in achieving educational goals.
- Keep the Headteacher and Governing Body informed about any legislative changes impacting the school's business, financial, HR, and resource management.
- Demonstrate and uphold the school's ethos and objectives effectively.
- Lead various support areas such as administration, premises management, HR, procurement, health and safety, information systems, marketing, and fundraising.
- Hold a degree-level qualification and a School Business Manager qualification or Accountancy certification.
- Minimum one year of experience at a Senior Level in Education or Financial Management.
- Proven track record in budget monitoring, financial comprehension, and ensuring financial compliance with current laws and practices.
- Flexibility in working hours to meet the school's needs.
- Establish and maintain appropriate relationships and boundaries with students.
