Overview:
Next Energy is actively engaged in managing and executing government funded HUG2 retrofit contracts aimed at enhancing housing for better energy efficiency and living standards. We are looking for an experienced Administrative Team Manager to lead our team of Contract Administrators and Team Leaders. This role requires a blend of leadership, operational management, and meticulous attention to compliance and detail, ensuring the successful delivery of these vital projects.
Key Responsibilities:
•Team Leadership and Development: Direct and support a team of Contract Administrators and Team Leaders, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and operational excellence. Ensure team members are well-trained, motivated, and equipped to handle their responsibilities effectively.
•Contract Oversight: Oversee the administration of HUG2 retrofit contracts from initiation to completion. Ensure that contracts are executed in line with government guidelines, project specifications, and funding requirements.
•Compliance and Quality Assurance: Monitor adherence to all regulatory and policy requirements related to government-funded retrofit projects. Implement quality control processes to ensure that all work meets or exceeds standards.
•Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including subcontractors, and project beneficiaries. Ensure clear, timely, and effective communication across all channels.
•Operational Efficiency: Streamline administrative processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity. Identify and implement tools and technologies that support project management, reporting, and collaboration.
•Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve that may impact project delivery. Implement effective solutions in a timely manner to mitigate risks.
•Reporting and Documentation: Ensure comprehensive documentation and reporting for all projects, including progress updates, compliance records, and financial reports. Prepare and present reports to senior management and clients as required.
Qualifications:
•Minimum 5 years of experience in administrative management or contract administration, with at least 2years in a leadership role over seeing a team, preferably within a government contract or retrofit projects environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of government funding processes, contract law, and regulatory compliance requirements related to housing or construction projects.
•Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing high performing teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of managing stakeholder relationships at all levels.
• Proficiency in project management software, financial management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
