    Summary
    We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Center Sales Engineer to join our dynamic sales team. As a Data Center Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of our data center solutions and services. You will leverage your technical expertise, industry knowledge, and strong communication skills to engage with clients, understand their unique requirements, and provide tailored solutions that address their data center infrastructure needs. This role requires a blend of technical acumen and sales prowess to effectively articulate the value of our offerings and foster lasting client relationships.

    Responsibilities

    • Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of data center technologies, including server hardware, networking, virtualization, storage, cooling, power distribution, and security, in order to consult with clients and recommend optimal solutions.
    • Solution Design: Collaborate with clients to gather technical requirements and design customized data center solutions that align with their business objectives, scalability needs, and budget constraints.
    • Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to participate in pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution proposal development, showcasing the technical features and benefits of our data center offerings.
    • Client Engagement: Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations. Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights into industry best practices, trends, and innovations related to data center technologies.
    • Proposal Development: Prepare detailed technical proposals and quotations, clearly articulating the proposed solutions, scope of work, pricing, and timelines.
    • Project Coordination: Collaborate with project management teams to ensure seamless execution of data center solutions, addressing any technical challenges and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the implementation process.
    • Product Knowledge: Stay current with industry trends, product developments, and emerging technologies related to data center infrastructure, continuously enhancing your knowledge to effectively educate clients and position our offerings.
    • Market Analysis: Monitor the competitive landscape and market trends to identify opportunities for product and service enhancements, and provide valuable feedback to internal teams.
    • Training and Support: Provide training and technical support to clients and internal sales teams to enhance their understanding of data center technologies and effectively promote our solutions.

    Skills & Experience

    • Proven track record of success in a technical sales role, preferably within the data center industry.
    • Strong understanding of data center technologies, including server hardware, networking, storage, virtualization, and associated software.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to confidently engage with clients in various settings.
    • Project management experience and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
    • Solution-oriented mindset with a customer-centric approach to sales and problem-solving.
    • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools is a plus.
    • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
    • Thrives in a fast-paced and continuously developing environment.
    • Exhibits strong interpersonal skills, communication and collaboration in a team environment.
    • Self-starter with superior analytical skills; a problem solver with an astute attention to detail.
    • Possesses good judgment, honesty, and utmost integrity.
