    Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home or another remote location.

    As a minimum we're all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.

    You will be a key member of the Probabilistic Safety Assessment team (PSA), responsible for the numerical analysis of the risk associated with operating the Royal Navy's nuclear submarine fleet, and production of associated safety case documentation.

    Numerical Analysis and Risk Assessments
    Undertake Risk Studies using Event Tree and Fault Tree Analysis
    Produce Safety Case Documentation

    The PSA team undertakes risk studies utilising Event Tree and Fault Tree analysis techniques which, generally require a degree of collaboration with other departments within RR Submarines.

    Tasks range from prompt responses to emergent requests from the customer to long-term planned safety campaigns.

    These principles form our values and behaviours and are an essential component of our assessment process and are fundamental qualities that we seek for all roles.

    Nuclear Safety Case experience
    Degree in Engineering, Maths, Physics or equivalent.
    Experience or knowledge of using PSA related software, such as Reliability Workbench would be beneficial (Training will be provided)
