    Description

    Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Band 6

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing evidence-based home oxygen assessment and therapy for community patients. You will be responsible for building relationships with healthcare professionals and ensuring accurate and contractual compliance.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work autonomously with a team of specialists to assess and monitor patients' needs
    • Develop care plans based on patient-focused assessments and best practices
    • Assess patients for oxygen therapy based on national guidelines
    • Empower patients to manage their conditions and improve their quality of life
    • Conduct community oxygen assessments and communicate results to relevant healthcare providers
    • Support in delivering home oxygen assessment services

    Requirements:

    • Qualified and NMC registered nurse or similar
    • Experience in respiratory medicine
    • Clinical assessment skills
    • Driving license and access to a car
    • Mentorship skills
    • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office
    • Training and educational background
    • Track record of professional achievement
    • Continual professional development
