We arecommitted to designing and implementing innovative solar projectsto meet the growing demand for renewable energy. As we continue toexpand our operations we are seeking a talented Solar PV DesignEngineer to join our dynamicteam.

    PositionOverview:
    We are looking for a skilledSolar PV Design Engineer to play a key role in the design anddevelopment of solar PV systems. The successful candidate will beresponsible for creating detailed designs conducting siteassessments and optimizing solar PV installations for maximumefficiency andperformance.

    Tasks

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Designsolar PV systems for residential and commercial projects adheringto industry standards and regulations.
    • Conductsite assessments to evaluate solar potential shading analysis andstructural considerations.
    • Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams including project managers electricalengineers and installers to ensure seamless projectexecution.
    • Utilize software tools such asOpensolar PVsol to create accurate solar PV layouts andsimulations.
    • Perform energy modelling andfinancial analysis to assess the viability and ROI of solarprojects.
    • Optimize system designs forefficiency reliability and costeffectiveness while consideringcustomer requirements and preferences.
    • Preparetechnical drawings specifications and documentation for permittingand construction purposes.
    • Stay updated onindustry trends technological advancements and best practices insolar PV design and engineering.
    • Liaise withSuppliers building relationships and negoatiates
    • Provide client quoatations and followup

    Requirements

    • Experiencein Renewable Energy or relatedfield.
    • Electrical Qualification Level 3 wouldbe advantageous but not essential
    • Solar PVQualification would be advantageous but notessential
    • Proven experience in solar PV designpreferably in the renewable energysector.
    • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g.AutoCAD) and solar design tools (e.g. OpenSolarPVSol).
    • Strong understanding of electricalsystems solar PV technologies and industrystandards.
    • Excellent analytical andproblemsolving skills with attention todetail.
    • Effective communication andinterpersonal skills for collaborating with internalteams.
    • Ability to work independently and managemultiple projectssimultaneously.
