    Execution Trader, Fixed IncomeJob Description

    A successful, collaborative, and entrepreneurial fundamental Fixed Income investment team is seeking an experienced execution trader to support the pod's trading requirements. This opportunity provides a dynamic and fast-paced environment with excellent opportunities for career growth.

    Job Description

    Experienced Execution trader to play a critical role in a successful Fixed Income trading team.

    Principal Responsibilities

  • Execute trades for portfolio managers with a pod
  • Maintain relationships with trading counterparties
  • Continuously monitor, review and improve execution practices and costs
  • Provide market colour to PMs and the wider team

    • Preferred Technical Skills

  • Advanced Python.
  • Strong quantitative background (Mathematics, CompSci, Engineering).

    • Preferred Experience/Attributes

  • 10+ years of experience in trading fixed income products, ideally within Asset Manager, Hedge Fund, Insurer, etc.
  • Experience with trading bonds, futures, interest rate and XCCY swaps
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to maintain focus in high-pressure environments
  • Outstanding communication and relationship building skills
  • Knowledge of Python will be considered as advantageous
