    Description

    To be responsible for the day to day management of the Paddock operations to ensure they run smoothly
    Be responsible for the management of the greyhounds, including ensuring that they are all placed and locked in correct kennels and they are presented in the correct racing jackets for each race;
    Manage your team and provide coaching, objectives and goal setting, performance management and other people policies as the need arises, ensure they are motivated, productive and follows all regulations, legislation and team values and behaviours;
    To have overall responsibility for the recruitment, induction, training, development and management of all paddock staff;
    To be responsible for ensuring that all paddock staff are aware of the Work Instruction Notices that are associated with their role and ensure that they have adequate training in those areas;
    Ensure the paddock assets are registered and maintained in line with appropriate H&S and legislative requirements;

    The company may also communicate ad hoc notifications through line managers and notices boards - these will also form a part of your health and safety responsibilities.
