    COMO Metropolitan London is an inner city property stripping back to the non-essential elements of a traditional hotel. The result is an urban retreat that is cool, accessible and sophisticated. COMO Metropolitan London is a 144 bedroom property with 19 private residences situated in the Heart of Mayfair.

    What you will do:

    • Effectively maximise
      room revenue by managing rate and room type restriction particularly in the
      short and long term to achieve profitability targets as set out by the Revenue
      Manager
    • To co-ordinate and
      manage all administrative functions for the Reservations Department.
    • Maximise opportunities for up-selling and
      maximise daily occupancy and ARRs through top-to-bottom selling strategies
    • Responsible for
      thorough communication of all relevant offers, rates, promotions and
      restrictions to the Reservations Team and all other relevant parties as
      required.
    • To ensure that revenue
      procedures, business market analysis and reservation procedures are consistent
      with the hotel objectives and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
    • Take necessary action
      with regard to the Reservations Department staff i.e. hire, evaluate and
      discipline as required with the approval of the Director of Sales and
      Marketing and Hotel Managers as required.
    • Assist the Events
      Manager/Executive with group quotes in terms of inventory, rates, group
      contracts and input as necessary.
    • Organise, chair and record monthly Reservations
      meetings with the full team to ensure effective communication, discuss rate
      strategies and other matters relevant for the Reservations Department.

    • An experience Reservations Manager, with experience leading a dynamic team
    • Excellent communicator and collaborator
    • Strong understanding of Opera
    • Excellent spoken and written English
    • Detail focused with experience in reporting & data analysis
    • Team Orientated, positive & driven leader
