    Description

    A lifestyle Hotel based on London's eccentric South Bank. With over 359 bedrooms, award-winning food and drink outlets and an electric energy, Sea Containers London is a destination where glamour meets brutalism - and it's your London anchor on the River Thames.

    Located in a prominent position on Shoreditch High Street, One Hundred Shoreditch has 258 bedrooms, five restaurants and bars including a breakfast restaurant, a destination cocktail bar and a rooftop bar and terrace, offering panoramic views over East London.

    We are seeking an experienced and motivated Reservations Manager to lead our reservations team. You will be covering both of our London properties, Sea Containers and One Hundred Shoreditch Hotels. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organisational and communication skills, a deep understanding of hotel operations, and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. As the Reservations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all reservation activities, ensuring maximum occupancy and revenue, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. You will report directly into the Director of Revenue.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage the reservations team, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
    • Oversee the daily operations of the reservations department, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in handling bookings.
    • Develop and implement effective reservation strategies to maximize room occupancy and revenue.
    • Monitor and analyse reservation trends and data to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
    • Handle VIP and special reservations, ensuring personalized service and attention to detail.
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and front office, to ensure a seamless guest experience.
    • Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and modifications, and prepare reports as needed.
    • Handling of all commissions
    • Address and resolve guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
    • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and regulations.
    • Utilise reservation software and systems effectively, staying updated on new features and best practices.
    • Proficiency in reservation systems and hotel management software.
    • A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
    • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
    • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
    • Knowledge of Opera PMS, Siteminder, SynXis and PVB Systems is desirable but not essential.

    Salary: Competitive + bonus
