    Description
    The Information Compliance Team is based within the Assurance Service.

    We manage data breaches, Subject Access Requests (SARs),Freedom of Information (FOI) requests and Environmental Information Regulation(EIR) requests, in compliance with statutory timescales.

    We also have a team of SAR Review Officers, that focus on reviewing and redacting personal information for Children's Services SARs.

    This particular role is focussed on Data Protection. This role will focus on Children's Services requests, and will involve a weekly caseload, with allocation occurring every Wednesday.

    This case load will require the post holder to review and redact sensitive information about children, young people and their families.

    Investigating data breaches
    Office based admin duties e.g. scanning and printing

    The role is best suited to a part time workforce, due to the large amount of reading and careful consideration of digital records.

    It is suitable for hybrid work, with flexible family-friendly hours. Whilst based at County Hall in Dorchester, the role is suitable for a high level of homeworking, if preferred. There will however be a requirement to travel to County Hall in Dorchester, periodically, for the office based duties.

    You should have a basic knowledge of data protection but will work under the guidance of the Senior Information Compliance Officers.
