    About the role

    Flogas Britain are seeking a high calibre Programme Manager to drive and progress a broad agenda of strategic development and business programmes.

    The role of Programme Manager - Change & Transformation is a new role in the business and the successful candidate will have proven experience in driving complex projects and initiatives forward, having the ability to translate strategy to execution, and be able to influence and manage stakeholders with conflicting priorities. The candidate will have the ability to communicate at all levels and be able to understand and optimise these relationships to the business' advantage.

    What you will be doing


    • Responsible for the delivery of the allocated strategic projects to time, cost and quality.


    • Ensure correct governance standards and controls are applied and adhered to throughout the lifecycle of the projects.


    • Provide for seamless operational handover to business as usual.


    • Deliver innovative and efficient business solutions built on best practice.


    • Ensure that the objectives of the projects are aligned with the business agenda and budget.


    • Work in conjunction with the other functional heads and the wider business to ensure alignment.


    • To partner with the business to execute on the cultural / people transformation associated with allocated projects whilst ensuring alignment with the strategy.


    • Be able to undertake internal improvement projects to enhance profitability and/or returns and manage or support those projects as appropriate.

    About You

    • Proven business programme management experience
    • Proven understanding of supply chain, logistics or multi-site distribution businesses.
    • Ability to minimise resistance to change; influence and collaborate to drive accountability to deliver.
    • Change agility, with the ability to prioritise business change to enhance delivery, responsiveness, and alignment to business needs and strategy.
    • Experienced in full lifecycle project management and delivering business solutions..
    • Proven planning experience with MS Project or similar.
    • Prince 2, APM, PMI.

    Flogas Britain is one of the largest distributors of off-grid energy in the UK and has over 35 years' experience of providing solutions to both commercial and domestic customers, principally in the form of liquid gas. The business has a longstanding record of organic growth driven by new installations, underpinned by a strong technical engineering expertise and capability, which combined with a number of bolt-on acquisitions have resulted in its market share increasing from 10% to over 30%.

    The business is at the forefront of the energy transition having developed a prominent track record in converting customers from higher emissions fuels to lower carbon and cleaner solutions for the last decade and is well placed with a significant range of opportunities to develop and diversify into New Energies into the future in line with our 2040 vision to provide 100% renewable solutions to customers.

    The recent acquisition of Protech by Flogas Britain further extends the business' capabilities in this regard to provide innovative and lower carbon solutions into the commercial sector; combining renewable-ready gas combustion with alternative technologies such as heat-pumps, solar power and electric vehicle charging to provide a complete solution to customers and assisting them on their own path to net zero.
