    Description
    We are seeking an Operations Director for our client's manufacturing plant in the South West.
    The Operations Director will be responsible for all areas of manufacturing at the site, with full P&L responsibility. This includes managing departments such as logistics, manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, and planning.


    Key Responsibilities:
    # Manage the value stream to meet production schedules, quality standards, profit targets, and regulatory requirements.
    # Ensure the maintenance and continuous improvement of standardized processes.
    # Collaborate with various departments to meet customer expectations and directly liaise with customers when required.
    # Maintain regular communication with the leadership team, preparing and submitting reports on manufacturing activities and operating budgets.
    # Comply with all relevant regulations and promote a positive working culture for employees.


    Your Profile:

    Educational Background:
    Relevant degree in business, engineering, or related field
    Integrated Experience: 3+ years in a similar role with people management responsibilities

    Skills:
    Demonstrated expertise in cost reduction and process improvement, high-level understanding of manufacturing including equipment, mechanics, and value streams
