    Description

    We drive JERA's renewable energy business growth in Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. As a global renewables IPP working across the life cycle of renewables, we are looking for key talent to be an active part of this exciting journey as the business grows further.

    The role will be based in London and will require occasional travelling and frequent collaboration with the JERA Group Headquarters in Japan, the JERA Green Headquarters in the UK and Parkwind Headquarters in Belgium.

    As a direct report to the Chief Executive, JERA Green, the Strategy and Operations Manager will be responsible for supporting the CEO in navigating a highly complex, global organisation. The Strategy and Operations Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that the business aligns, where appropriate, with Group activities and that Jera Green projects are managed effectively, requiring extensive involvement at Boards and Executive leadership meetings

    What you will be doing

    • ·Co-ordinating with Communications function, to prepare CEO for key events with research, speaking notes etc
    • Working with the Executive team, ensuring CEO has only prioritized, relevant topics raised
    • Coordinate different departments for CEO relevant decisions and meetings
    • Pre-view and work on agenda and content for meetings with CEO
    • Coordinate events that are owned by CEO, or sub functions that require CEO attention/participation
    • Take on special projects that are of importance for CEO, in coordination with relevant Business Unit
    • Prepare agenda and coordinate with input owners for executive committees
    • Track actions defined in Executive Committees and Board and proactively follow up with responsible managers

    What you will have

    • 5 years+ of relevant work experience
    • Bi-Lingual – both English and Japanese spoken and written
    • An in-depth understanding of Japanese corporate culture
    • Strong Academic Background
    • In-depth understanding of either renewables, utility, oil and gas, finance or infrastructure
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Meaningful and demonstrated history of operational efficiency and optimization
    • Exceptional project manager with extraordinary organization skills
    • Outstanding data mining skills, particularly in policy analysis and political insights
