    Description
    Due to continued growththe position of Estimator has become available to join our successful team based in Gloucester.


    We have a fantastic opportunity on our EDF Project Controls Resource Framework to be involved in the exciting challenge of defueling and decommissioning the AGR nuclear power station.

    This is a first of a kind endeavour in the UK.


    You will be responsible for preparing accurate and underpinned cost estimates that are required for effective project/programme control, taking account of the constraints of cost, time, scope definition and purpose of the project in accordance with the Programme Office Handbook and Company Specification on Estimating.

    This will be a hybrid role with flexibility on days worked in the office.

    Role Requirements


    • Must be eligible for CTC level Security Clearance (3 years residency in the UK)
    • Experience in estimating methodologies coordinating information & interpreting technical specifications and engineering drawings of varying complexity, to produce a coherent & accurate estimate.
    • Technical aptitude with a high level of understanding of Project Management, Engineering, Regulatory, Procurement, Construction, Installation and Commissioning activities and their relation to project costs.
    • Relevant experience in Project Controls and/or Project Delivery, preferably in a highly regulated environment.
    • Strong MS excel skills and a working knowledge of MS Word and Power Point. Experience in the use of Estimating software packages. Working knowledge of SAP would be desirable.
    • Able to develop strong internal and external relationships and able to deliver against stakeholder expectations
