    Description

    Leading US Law Firm are seeking an Attorney Development Manager to join them in their London office on a permanent basis.

    This role will oversee all professional development for all levels of attorney in the firm even down to trainee level.

    Salary £100-120,000Hybrid Working 4/1 splitStunning office environmentThe Attorney Development Manager will work closely with the US office dealing with on/offboarding, ER, performance reviews, mentoring, training and more.


    Duties of the Attorney Development Manager:
    Oversee incoming legal talent and assist and monitor their integration into the firm.
    Work with HR team and global team to manage all performance review processes, and any ER cases. Creating and implementing professional development programmes, retention initiatives and coordinate training needs & coaching.
    Manage the mentor program.
    Monitor time, attendance, overtime, expenses and ensure adherence to firm policies.
    Duty to understand and develop knowledge of the firms practices, staff, knowledge and wider industry knowledge.
    Engage in strategic planning.

    Requirements for the Attorney Development Manager:

    Be degree educated, ideally a legal degree although not essentialMinimum 6 years attorney development or HR experience, within a Law Firm preferred.

    Proven working knowledge of the industry, best practices and techniques for successful development. Knowledge of relevant software (Workday, Micron CE Manager, viDesktop) with ability to pick up new programmes. Knowledge of budgeting process. Ability to work and engage with staff members of varying seniority and rolesStrong time-management skills.
