    Role Purpose: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our fleet of OTMs throughout their lifecycle and oversee the potential introduction of new plant. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential issues, optimize processes, and enhance overall system dependability.

    What you'll be doing

  • Ensure all equipment/machines are maintained to the required quality standards.
  • Ensure all staff are given technical support as requested (fault finding, technical guidance).
  • Interrogate reliability data to identify trends and provide technical solutions where necessary, in conjunction with the Engineering Strategy Manager (ESM).
  • Ensure all equipment/machines have a reliability growth plan which is executed and is regularly reviewed and updated in conjunction with the ESM.
  • Produce weekly/monthly reliability dashboards and statistics as requested.
  • Ensure corrective actions (fault rectification) prevent repeat failures/issues.
  • Attend various PDRs to represent your Business Unit.
  • Provide support and guidance to the Area Maintenance Managers (AMM) to ensure suitable spares and service kits are available to support the operation of the fleet.
  • Complete maintenance improvements documentation as necessary, working closely with the AMMs and ESM.
  • Ensure Root Cause Analysis are complete and submitted with the support from the BU maintenance team.
  • Manage NIRs and fleet checks where necessary on OTM equipment as directed by the Professional Head of Engineering.
  • Conduct quality inspections across the fleet, with corrective actions and lessons learnt distributed throughout the BU team, and wider if necessary.
  • Produce and submit technical reports as required.
  • Attend reliability forums internally and externally as requested.
  • Various requirements as directed by the BU Manager or PHoE in accordance with business requirements.
  • Who we're looking for

  • Experience: Proven experience in reliability engineering, preferably in a relevant industry.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in reliability analysis tools and methodologies.Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.IT literate.
  • Innovative Thinker: Ability to think creatively and proactively to anticipate and address potential reliability challenges.
  • Team Player: Collaborative approach to working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Results-Driven: Demonstrated commitment to achieving and exceeding reliability targets.
  • Expected to travel and stay away from home on occasion: As business requires but usually based in South London.
