    Led by racing legend Michael Andretti, the team fields multiple entries in INDYCAR, INDY NXT, IMSA and Formula E.

    The global racing enterprise boasts over 250 race wins, four INDYCAR Series championships, five INDY NXT titles, one Indy Pro 2000 and one USF2000 championship, and has captured victory five times at the famed Indianapolis 500-Mile Race.

    The team is now looking to expand into the pinnacle of motorsport through our Andretti Cadillac Team.


    Job description:

    We have an opportunity for a Quality Control Inspection Manager to join the Andretti Cadillac Team at the new Silverstone Facility.

    In this role you will be responsible for the build, development and management of the Quality Control Inspection Department for both Goods-In and internal manufacturing production.

    Principal Accountabilities:
    Develop and manage a first class Quality Control Inspection department that constantly strives to for quality, performance and efficiency excellence
    Lead and manage the Inspection Team (across both metallic and composite disciplines for Goods-In and internal manufacturing production) to ensure all quality and delivery metric targets are achieved
    Define and implement the Inspection processes to maximize efficiency and decision making
    Work collaboratively and develop strong working relationships with other cross functional departments including Supplier Quality, Procurement, Design and Manufacturing to maximize right first time products
    Maintain a thorough understanding of industry standards and regulations
    Determine equipment shortages within the Inspection department
    Provide ongoing training and support to the Inspection Team
    Report on Quality Control metrics to drive continuous improvement
    Develop a thorough working knowledge of the company's ERP system and contribute to its ongoing development
    Requirements

    At least 5+ years of best practice experience in Motorsport Quality Control
    At least 3+ years experience of successfully leading a quality control team with strong leadership and development skills
    Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce high quality work whilst working under pressure
    Well organized and delivery focused with the ability to prioritize in a demanding environment
    Self-motivated. Able to motivate and lead others
    Proven track record of strong personnel management
    Good problem-solving skills
    Knowledge of motorsport manufacturing methods
    Previous ERP experience is an advantage
    Communicate effectively with key stakeholders
    Clear and concise communication, verbally and with the use of email
    Previous experience of MS applications including Outlook and Excel
    Flexible attitude with the ability to work within a team in a high pressure rapidly changing environment
    Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture
