    Looking to develop skills in promotion and sustainable event management? Join the Green Team as a Sustainable Event Assistant, supporting the organisation and running of the Sustainability Team's upcoming Sustainability Assembly.

    What You'll Do:

    The University's Sustainability Team are looking for volunteers to support with the promotion and management of their upcoming Sustainability Assembly on 25th October from 12:30 - 16:00.

    During this session you will:

    • Promote the University's Sustainability Assembly and encourage staff and students to join in.
    • Support with the set up of the event.
    • Direct audience members to the event and manage their.

    This is your chance to volunteer at the University's very first Sustainability Assembly Throughout the session you'll not only gain insight into the running and promotion of a sustainable event, but also the University's future plans to become a leading sustainable institution. There'll also be opportunity to get involved with the session, ensuring you play a crucial role in forming the University's future sustainability strategy.

    This opportunity is great for anyone looking to learn more about sustainability, event management and promotion:

    • you'll recieve first-hand experience of working in a promotion and an events setting
    • you'll get an insight into key successes and challenges of sustainable behaviour change across a large organisation
    • you'll enhance your employability skills in communication, event management, communication and teamwork.
    What We're Looking For:

    No previous experience in sustainability, event management or promotion necessary We're looking for a fab group of students who:

    • have an interest in sustainability
    • are keen to learn and take own initiative
    • are confident in engaging and working with a diverse group of people.
