    Business Development Manager - Payments IndustryJob Overview:

    Reel Recruit is excited to collaborate with a leading payment sector entity to scout for energetic and ambitious Business Development Managers (BDMs) for their field sales team. These roles are crucial for broadening the client base and boosting market presence throughout the UK. We are looking for sales professionals who are driven to excel in sales and are keen on delivering outstanding customer service and smashing sales targets.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Client Interactions: Regular visits to potential and current clients to understand their needs, showcase payment solutions, and clinch sales.
    • Lead Generation and Development: Work closely with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to spot new sales opportunities and propel leads through the sales funnel.
    • Prospecting: Employ cold calling, among other prospecting strategies, to unearth new leads and set up meetings.
    • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, assess competition, and pinpoint potential growth opportunities.
    • Strategic Sales Planning: Collaborate with the sales team to formulate and implement robust sales strategies for specific markets.
    • Customer Relationship Management: Foster and maintain solid relationships with clients to ensure high customer satisfaction.
    • Target Achievement: Aim to meet and exceed set monthly and quarterly sales targets.
    • Performance Reporting: Regularly report on sales activities, pipeline status, and overall performance.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • Base Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, based on experience.
    • On-Target Earnings (OTE): £80,000 per annum, with an uncapped potential, depending on performance.
    • Travel Accommodations: Choice of a car allowance or a company car to support travel requirements.
    • Additional Perks: Access to a competitive benefits package, including pension schemes, healthcare, and professional growth opportunities.

    Requirements:

    • Full UK driving license.
    • Proven track record in field sales, preferably within the payments or financial services industries.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication prowess, capable of forging strong connections with clients and team members.
    • Experience collaborating with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and managing CRM systems.
    • Independent work ethic, efficient time management, and willingness to travel widely across assigned territories.
    • Goal-oriented mindset with a dedication to achieving sales quotas.
    • Must possess a valid driver's license and be open to extensive travel.

    Interview Process:

    The selection process comprises three stages:

    1. Initial Video Interview: A preliminary screening to showcase your experience, skills, and motivations.
    2. Second Video Interview: A deeper dive into your sales strategies, achievements, and fit with the company culture.
    3. Face-to-Face Interview: A final round to meet the team in person, demonstrate your interpersonal skills and discuss potential placement and growth within the company.
