Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Business Development Manager to become part of a expanding specialist scientific testing organization with multiple locations throughout the UK.

Our company provides a variety of testing solutions for the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device sector.

About the role:

As a Business Development Manager, your main tasks will involve proactively pursuing new business prospects, collaborating with both new and existing clients to bolster our company's operations.

Responsibilities include:

Generating revenue through the creation of fresh business opportunities.
Engaging in activities for new business development to secure leads and sales chances.
Coordinating onsite client meetings and participating in industry events.
Nurturing both new and existing client relationships.
Conducting presentations, offering information and quotes to clients.
Collaborating with technical and Sales Managers to formulate and deliver proposals.

Desired candidates for the BD Manager position will:

Possess a background in Science, such as Analytical Chemistry or Biology, along with experience in the Pharmaceutical, Environmental, Materials Testing, or Medical Device sector, ideally within contract testing.

Prior experience as a Business Development Manager/ BD Executive in the scientific field, especially in contract testing, is required.

To excel in this role, you should be motivated, with exceptional communication, problem-solving, and influencing abilities.

The Business Development Manager role offers full remote/work-from-home options, including an attractive base salary and OTE, a car allowance, and additional perks.

UK work authorization is essential for all applicants.
