    Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant


    Location:
    North Birmingham, B6, Aston


    Contract Type:
    Full-Time, Long-Term


    Start Date:
    April 2024


    Salary:
    £85-£100 per day based on experience


    LTF Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and caring Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Aston.

    Key Responsibilities:


    Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEN, ensuring they have access to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

    Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching methods to meet the specific needs of each student.

    Collaborate with class teachers and the SENCO to create a nurturing and engaging classroom atmosphere.
    Support students in their academic and social development.
    Monitor and record progress, providing feedback to the teaching team and parents as required.
    Help maintain a safe and organised classroom setting

    Requirements:
    Previous experience working as a Level 2 Teaching Assistant is advantageous.
    A compassionate and patient nature, with a strong desire to support children with SEN.
    Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    Willingness to work as part of a team and take direction from teaching staff.
    A commitment to promoting inclusion and equal opportunities for all students.
    Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support are a plus.
