    Description

    Context:


    Cornflake has built an outstanding reputation for the design, supply, installation and support of technology control solutions in the high-end residential and, most recently, the hospitality sector.

    Predominantly, this market is in the greater London area. Over this period, Cornflake has established a first-class service capability. Providing its clients with a bespoke 'Concierge' capability. This capability meets the various needs of Cornflake's diverse but ever-demanding clients.


    Role Purpose:


    Maternity cover in the finance department, taking responsibility for the finance team's day-to-day tasks and ensuring the broader company's requirements are met.


    Main Duties:

    • Full responsibility for the sales and purchase ledgers, including raising and posting invoices and chasing debt
    • Managing accounts emails and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers
    • Bank reconciliations
    • Ensuring the CRM system is up to date with all project-related information, including invoices and payments
    • Managing the direct debit process
    • Updating weekly cashflows, ensuring all information is correct
    • Liaising with the purchasing department to ensure communication of all required information.

    Knowledge and Experience:

    • At least 2 years experience in a similar role, accounts assistant or higher
    • Need to be able to demonstrate all-round financial experience
    • Sage50 experience desirable
    • CRM system experience desirable
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Excellent planning and organisational skills
    • To be able to prioritise and ability to meet tight deadlines, often under pressure
    • Ability to deal with clients and partners in a tactful, diplomatic and confidential manner
    • Fully proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc)
    • Working experience in CRM and Project Management software
