As we scale into new geographies and audiences, we are looking for a leader to help take our community and team to the next level. This leader will be the thread that runs through our community spaces, community engagement and community product, globally. This person will connect the dots across teams and departments; setting strategy, showing impact, supporting cross functional company goals. This is a full time role that can be held from our London or Berlin or Paris hub.

    • Set the vision for our EMEA community strategy targeting designers and developers
    • Formalize our playbook for scaling community in EMEA as a key part of our bottoms-up go-to-market motion to support business growth (for example in Tier 2 markets)
    • Manage all community data, showing with metrics how community supports the business; report on program successes
    • Collaborate with regional Sales partners (Sales leadership, Sales enablement and Sales Consulting teams) to optimize our Advocacy engagement playbook, devise new ways to scale and manage all related metrics
    • Take Figma's thriving EMEA community to the next level through programmes from influencer marketing to creating new community channels in region
    • Define strategy and programs how to grow our EMEA developer community from scratch
    • Create and test programs to drive bottoms-up go-to-market motion in Tier 2 markets (i.e., Nordics, Israel)

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

    • 4+ years of community and advocacy/evangelism experience, 8+ years of relevant work experience and 3+ years leading teams
    • Strategic thought leader and ability to influence - ability to articulate a brand vision that gets stakeholders on board & inspires teams and other leaders at the highest levels of the org
    • Strong collaboration, communication and presentation skills
    • Excel at balancing both the analytical and human side of community

While not required, it's an added plus if you also have:

    • Experience working in a high-growth company is preferred
    • Experience working with product designers and/or developer audiences; experience working in high-growth SaaS companies
    • Strategic thought leadership and ability to influence - ability to represent the Figma brand well, and articulate a brand vision that gets stakeholders on board & inspires teams
    • A curious nature, you find it easy to build relationships
    • A creative mind who loves bringing new insights to existing projects and continuously pushes the team to try new things.

At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you're excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
