    Job summary

    Driven, passionate, outcome focused aninspirational leader who can design, develop and deliver outstanding results. Amix of strategic and practical, this role will take the lead on peoplestrategy, supporting our managers and leaders in the delivery of theiroperational plans and ensuring development of a high inclusive culture.

    Main duties of the job

    -Youwill work directly with Leaders and Managers to ensure all elements of thepeople strategy are well developed, delivered, embedded, measured, andevaluated for success.

    -Overseethe colleague experience working closely with leaders to embed all elements ofthe people strategy into their area of the organisation with clear action plansand deliverables.

    -Proactivelydrive high performance with team and leader development interventions to ensurewe have the skills for today and tomorrow.

    -Together with the wider team, ensure GPN is a good place to work, developing roadmaps and interventions to create the right culture with leaders, colleagues and teams.

    -Manage disciplinary and grievance issues as they arise.

    -Ensure all aspects of the HR function are managed effectively, from talent acquisition, onboarding, training and development, employment lifecycle, establishment management and workforce planning.

    -Act as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders, coaching for performance and outcomes at all levels.

    -Lead on organisational effectiveness, leading change, organisation design, working with leaders to ensure we have the right processes and procedures.

    -Support and lead on all HR projects.

    -Develop on building and developing colleague engagement. Ensure we develop and embed a dynamic, inclusive working environment where all colleagues feel valued and accepted for who they are and can bring their authentic sevlevs to work.

    Job responsibilities

    PeopleStrategy & Projects

    To lead on and ensurefull delivery of the people strategy across GPN

    To deliver peopleservice projects assigned to you, collaborate and work across all teams toensure successful delivery, launch and embedding of projects.

    Identify key issues anddevelop focused HR interventions to address root cause issues.

    ColleagueExperience, Engagement & Culture

    Drive initiatives tofoster a positive work culture, employee engagement, and retention.

    Implement strategies toenhance employee satisfaction, well-being, and work-life balance.

    Develop interventionsto ensure the competencies are truly integrated and aligned to the culture.

    Review and evaluateculture and subcultures on a regular basis and recommend interventions toensure we nurture the culture.

    To support thedevelopment of interventions that secure the right behaviours and cultureacross the organisation.

    Support leaders todevelop their teams and build high performance at every level of theorganisation.

    AccountManagement

    Develop best practicepeople practices across the organisation.

    To provide regular andconsistent Business Partner support to all nominated managers, covering allelements of the People Strategy.

    Review trends andpatterns of KPIs to ensure we address the root cause of issues andconcerns.

    Support leaders indeveloping and implementing change programmes, ensuring all change programmesare linked to the strategic aims of the team and people strategy.

    Support the talentacquisition process, including recruitment, selection, and onboarding.

    Provide guidance and support to managersand employees, ensuring fair and consistent treatment and compliance withcompany policies.

    Leadership& Talent Management

    To be accountable forbuilding and maintaining leadership capability at every level through thedevelopment and implementation of high-quality interventions and programmes.

    Build a strongsuccession planning and talent mapping to ensure we can maximise talent withinthe organisation.

    Performance& Organisational Effectiveness

    Help embed a newoverarching performance development framework, using 121s, PDRs and performancereviews ensuring every colleague can truly thrive at work.

    Champion and driveforward the development of talent at all levels of the organisation to ensurewe build a string reputation for development talent.

    Understand organisationdesign, job design, job effectiveness and overall contribution and deliveringon continuous improvement approach to reviewing what works and what doesnot.

    Have a clear plan ofhow to address any gaps and ensure we have an upskilling plan in place for eachteam.

    Rewardand Appreciation

    Have a clear understanding of our approach to reward andrecognition across the organisation.

    Monitor industry trends and make recommendations to attract andretain top talent.

    Analytics

    I nsightlead HR: using data to inform discussion and debate. To be curious and use datato understand patterns and trends and drive better outcomes.

    Analyse HR metrics anddevelop approaches to trends and patterns to help address root causes and buildsustainable solutions.

    TrustedAdvisor

    To act as challenger,coach, trusted advisor, and critical friend to develop and build leadership andcolleague capability across the organisation.

    Policiesand Compliance

    General

    To maintain up to dateknowledge of legislation, national and local policies and issues in relation tothe specific client group, mental health and community care delivery

    To comply with the Professional Codes of Conduct and to beaware of changes in these. To maintain up to date knowledge of all relevantlegislation and local policies and procedures implementing this.

    To ensure that all duties arecarried out to the highest standard and in accordance with currently qualityinitiatives within the work area.

Patients entrustand permit us to collect and retain sensitive information relating to theirhealth and other matters pertaining to their care. they do so in confidence andhave a right to expect that all staff will respect their privacy and maintainconfidentiality at all times.     Learningand development

    Theeffective use of training and development is fundamental in ensuring that allstaff are equipped with the appropriate skills, knowledge, attitude andcompetences to perform their role. All staff will be required to partake andcomplete mandatory training as well as participating in other trainingprogrammes. Staff will also be permitted (subject to approval) to undertakeexternal training courses which will enhance their knowledge and skills,progress their career and ultimately enable them to improve processes andservice delivery.

    Staffwill be required to participate in regular supervision in accordance with goodpractice guidelines and policy and take part in the organisations annual appraisalprocess.

    Allstaff are to recognise the significance of collaborative working. Teamwork isessential in multidisciplinary environments. Effective communication isessential, and all staff must ensure that they communicate in a manner whichenable the sharing of information in an appropriate manner.
