Bellfield Infant School & Nursery is a friendly, inclusive two form entry school with hardworking and committed staff and pupils who are highly motivated and engaged.
We are looking to fulfil two positions: an EYFS teacher and a Class Teacher (either KS1 or EYFS), beginning September 2024. Both positions are fixed term for 1 year in the first instance.
We are requiring practitioners who are committed and demonstrates our school ethos to join our team.
We are looking for:
• an experienced, reflective practitioner with strong, up to date pedagogical knowledge of the Early Years Framework /National Curriculum, and support with the transition to KS1
• a committed team player with excellent organisational and motivational skills
• someone who has high expectations of themselves, others and maintains a focus on all children making good progress from their start points
• a teacher who fosters and nurtures positive relationships with all pupils and is committed to inclusive practice for all
• someone who will take a leading role in building effective partnerships with parents and colleagues
• assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of pupils
You will have:
• a degree level qualification and QTS
• the ability to inspire colleagues to achieve individual and whole school targets
• experience of sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement
• strong subject knowledge across EYFS and KS1
• experience of leading a subject area
• excellent communication and interpersonal skill. Able to work collaboratively with staff and parents
