    Experience Designer (UX Designer)

    Edinburgh, Hybrid working

    £45,000 - £55,000 Basic + bonus & benefits.

    Are you an Experience Designer with 3 years plus experience in this field or Service Design? Do you work for an established agency or corporate business? Would you like to change your role and work for a fantastic financial services firm, which gives you a platform to develop your skills and challenge yourself in a collaborative environment?

    Your new role would be a challenging permanent opening as an Experience Designer based in Edinburgh, with hybrid working.

    The role will lead the design and optimization of end-to-end customer journeys to ensure a seamless customer experience, you will document and present the service design process and outcomes, providing recommendations and guidelines for implementation and scaling.

    In addition you will facilitate co-creation workshops and discovery sessions with users, customers, and stakeholders to generate ideas and concepts for service improvement or innovation, along with conducting user research and stakeholder interviews to understand the current state of a service, pain points, opportunities, and goals. User testing and feedback also form a key part to the role.

    In order to qualify for this excellent opportunity, you will be in addition to the below requirements;

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in service design or related roles
    • Experience of blueprints and customer journey mapping
    • Proficiency in design thinking and human-centred design methodologies
    • Strong portfolio showcasing your service design work and its impact on the customer experience
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate design concepts and insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
    • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to inform design decisions
    • Experience using design, prototyping, and research tools
    • Prior experience in a corporate or agency environment is preferred
