    Description

    We've got an exciting opportunity for a performance-led, customer-focused team player to join the highways maintenance team. Our Performance Officer is a key post in supporting the Highways Maintenance team in delivering an efficient and effective service through proactive management of our PFI contract.

    You will play a key role in monitoring and reporting contract delivery, working with colleagues across operational areas to understand performance and will support continuous improvement through innovation and new approaches.

    Working within a small, friendly team, you'll be an important participant in regular service improvement and governance meetings with our contractor.

    You'll support processes concerned with inspections, sample/reality checks of performance data and the management of information.

    You'll have a customer-focused mindset, ensuring a quality service to the people of Sheffield and co-operative and productive working with your colleagues and strategic partners.

    About You

    You'll have contract monitoring experience or experience of supporting major or strategic contracts. You'll have excellent IT skills; confident in handling, analysing and interpreting significant amounts of data and able to translate this into reports for a range of audiences. You'll also have great attention to detail.

    You'll be able to build strong and effective relationships with our contractor, customers and colleagues.

    You'll be able to organise your workload, prioritising to meet deadlines, and working co-operatively with your colleagues to ensure timely and high-quality performance.
