    Senior Business Analyst

    This Senior Business Analyst role will be an integral member of the delivery team working closely with stakeholders across the business to support delivery of outcomes to drive business value.

    Facilitation and translation of business requirements into easily understandable deliverables along with mapping out future state processes and operating models is key to ensuring successful outcomes.

    Ability to adapt to all different sizes and types of projects will be essential as you help our partners and internal stakeholders navigate their way through all elements of new processes and ways of working, business case creation, ideation and feasibility.

    Capture, define, prioritise, document and explain business requirements based on project objectives and outcomes
    JIRA/Confluence/DevOps
    Ensure interfaces between all partners, service providers and internal stakeholders are understood, meet requirements and work seamlessly through extensive testing (where required)
    Support internal project workstreams with elaborating requirements encompassing product, pricing, finance, operations, data and all touchpoints of a customer journey
    Work in alignment with testing colleagues to define test scope and strategy and support with test execution where required
    Help drive forward good Conduct for the business to deliver the best outcomes for customers / policyholders.
    Demonstrable ability in business analysis and associated tools /techniques
    Understanding of wider business goals and the impact business analysis has on them
    Knowledge of insurance policy administration, policy lifecycles and workflows
    Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria
    Business Situation Analysis
    Plans, manages and investigates business situation analysis where there is significant ambiguityand complexity.
    Understanding of Business problems and investigating root causes.
    Advises on the approach and techniques to be used for business situation analysis. Prepares cost/benefit analysis, impact and risk analysis for each option.
    Obtains input from and communicates modelling results to senior managers for agreement.
    User Story Analysis and Creation
    Takes responsibility for understanding client requirements, collecting data, delivering analysis andproblem resolution.
    Ensures that all participants are engaged throughout the changeprogrammeand fully prepared toexploit the new operational business environment.
    Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
    Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle
    Experience conforming product definition to regulatory compliance requirements
    Experience/Knowledge of structured or un-structured database architecture.
