    The Learning & Professional Development / Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Coordinator (the "Coordinator") will work closely with the Senior L&PD and DE&I Managers – Europe & Asia to guide and support L&PD and DEI initiatives for lawyers and GO Team professionals.

    The Coordinator will have responsibility for programme logistics for L&PD and DEI events, training, coaching and other initiatives. This includes being responsible for liaising with key stakeholders, calendar planning, meeting invitations and response tracking, organisation and distribution of materials, communications and other related tasks.

    What you will do:

    Learning & Professional Development

    • Design and implement proactive communication plans to ensure that learning and professional development initiatives are communicated effectively to target populations;
    • Arrange logistics for training programs including booking training rooms, sending out invitations, tracking attendance ordering catering, liaising with speakers, communicating with the AV team, collating materials and drafting feedback surveys;
    • Support the L&PD Senior Manager to identify training priorities, the development and roll out of new training initiatives and existing training programmes in the UK, Europe and Asia offices;
    • Assist in the coordination, delivery and ongoing review of the onboarding and development programme for UK Trainees and NQs, ensuring compliance with the SRA's requirements regarding training and supervision;
    • Be a point of contact for L&PD requests and queries and liaison with US based L&PD team;
    • Responsible for the administrative aspects of the coaching programmes and prepare reports;
    • Liaise with external providers, researching and booking external speakers for events and network;
    • Updating professional skills based learning and professional development sessions and workshops;
    • Be responsible for maintaining, filing and organising training programs, materials and recordings
    • Solicit and analyse feedback and data for L&PD programmes; prepare summary reports and recommend adjustments. Create and develop other internal reports and presentations as needed;
    • Identify and evaluate the applicability of new training and development interventions developed by other organisations or providers;
    • Monitor and update relevant areas of the L&PD budget and process invoices;
    • Support the Senior Learning & Professional Development Manager to create and maintain the L&PD iNet site.

    Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

    • Support Affinity/Resource group and other DEI-related meetings with collating agendas, capturing meeting minutes and action/budget tracking;
    • Support Affinity/Resource groups (and others) with researching, vetting and booking potential speakers and caterers, contracts, invoice processing and overall event organisation including setting up registration links, booking rooms/catering, managing responses etc;
    • Provide logistical support and coordination for DEI training programs, retreats and events, including by developing and implementing project plans and providing other logistical support;
    • Support with the design, rollout and result analysis for any Europe/Asia DEI related surveys;
    • Track peer/competitor DEI activity and support the Sr Manager with building out business cases for strategic investments in line with best practice;
    • Work alongside HR with preparing policy drafts as they relate to DEI and provide support to the Senior DEI Manager on reviewing and updating HR processes that relate to DEI;
    • Collaborate with UK Recruitment team to provide logistical support for DEI events for law students, summer associates, vacation schemes, work experience and other programmes;
    • In collaboration with the DEI Senior Manager, co-deliver the DEI induction to new joiners;
    • Provide support to the broader DEI team when necessary;
    • Additional ad hoc projects, administrative assignments and reporting as required.

    Who you are:

    • Degree educated or equivalent experience;
    • 2+ years' experience (ideally in an administrative capacity) in a professional services organisation, previous law firm experience a plus;
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Well organised, self-motivated and keen to learn;
    • Strong computer skills/proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, comfortable working with databases;
    • Superb organisational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; flexibility and professionalism in dealing with last minute changes;
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills; professional and courteous demeanour; ability to interact effectively with all levels of the firm;
    • Ability to respect, protect and maintain highly confidential information;
    • Attention to detail, initiative to own a project, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
