    JOB PURPOSE

    As a Market Research Producer, you'll be instrumental in generating crucial insights and recommendations to propel new business growth across our private briefing-style events, sponsored products, and subscriptions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to delve deeply into our core markets, clients, audiences, and competitors by conducting market research through interviews, data analysis and desk research, while also engaging in essential aspects of event production. You'll be involved in every stage of the event cycle, from conception to delivery, collaborating closely with various departments across the organisation.

    PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES


    • Conduct comprehensive market research (phone, desk, face to face, social media) to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities within the capital markets, informing the development of engaging agendas and new themes for GC Live briefings.

    • Collaborate closely with the editorial team, attending editorial meetings and building relationships to ensure alignment and synergy in content creation.

    • Expand our core audiences for GC Live through targeted market outreach efforts, including market mapping insights to identify partnership and subscription renewal opportunities.

    • Analyse existing data and formulate briefs to support the creation of highly targeted marketing campaigns for GC Live and webinars.

    • Cultivate relationships within the debt capital markets community to enhance industry engagement and event participation.

    • Assist in the execution and delivery of GC Live events, roundtables, and webinars. This includes managing speaker invitations and logistics, drafting and proofreading marketing materials, coordinating attendee invitations and registration, rehearsal scheduling, transcript write up coordination, management of the GC Live customer service inbox, keeping our database of key contacts updated, and contributing to post-event evaluation processes.

    KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS


    • Strong research skills, with the ability to identify and synthesise relevant information from a variety of sources.

    • Interest in finance, current affairs, preferably with an understanding of capital markets.

    • Exceptional organisational abilities, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

    • Interest in event production.

    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating productive interactions with internal teams, clients, and industry professionals.

    • Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and adjust accordingly.

    • Adaptability to evolving market dynamics and fast-paced environments.

    • Technical proficiency in virtual platforms, livestreaming tools, and other digital solutions.

    • Must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
