    Description
    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and focused Service Manager to join the GI Surgery Team.

    As Service Manager you will provide operational support to Colorectal Surgery service.

    You will be responsible for managing an admin team responsible for outpatients, theatre booking and general admin support to the surgical teams.

    Reporting to the Assistant General Manager you will lead on RTT, cancer waiting times and will be responsible for achieving activity targets.

    In order to be successful, the post-holder will need to have a proven track record of managing RTT and people management.

    Proven experience in service improvement and development
    Proven experience in effective management of budget and effective leadership of staff.

    Excellent communication skills, including the ability to liaise and negotiate effectively at directorate management team level.
