    Our BID Manageropportunity

    Summary of Duties / JobDescription:

    • Manage the endtoend bidprocess.
    • Tender for small medium and largescaletenders and frameworks across the UK;
    • Assistwith current multidisciplinary tenders asrequired;
    • Reviewing tenders to understand keyaspects required to win the work and to provide clear briefs fortechnical teams so their focus is in the right areas reducing timeand input form technical teams.
    • Developholistic systems and processes to improve our tenders includingreview of CVs capability statements brochures case studies and tolead on the delivery and coordination of these for key projectsincluding liaison with sub consultants and project partners anddriving the tender programme ensuring suitable timescales forsenior review of quality and costs;
    • Provide acoordination role for tenders
    • Assist BD leadswith appropriate marketing material;
    • Develophigh quality stock answers to qualityquestions;
    • Monitor tenders across the UK anddevelop a tender tracker and programme to map future frameworks andframe work renewals;
    • Work with social mediateam (internal and external) to assist with material to support ourmarketing and PR;
    • Collate tenders in InDesignand create high quality templates andsubmission;
    • Collate tenders and images anddevelop an image library for tenders and facilitate photography ofLanpro projects aligned to
    • Co Create (websiteapproach) ensuring these are current andprofessional;
    • Work with Lanpro colleagues todevelop and build capacity and knowledge of tender deliveryundertaking training and identify external training for bidwriting.
    • Understanding the financialrequirements of tenders and work with Business Unit Leads andDiscipline Leads to define pricing strategies fortenders/projects.
    • Undertake market researchrelating to won/lost tenders to guide a holistic pricing strategyfor the company for tenders;
    • Ensure a clearSocial Return on Investment (SROI) and a Corporate SocialResponsibility (CSR) Strategy aligned to tender submission and toreview opportunities for added value to our clients andstakeholders.
    • Manage virtual bid teams andinputs from key stakeholders typically engaging with marketingfinance commercial legal and project management / deliveryteams.
    • Work with the discipline or ProjectDirector Manager and Discipline leads to develop a clear winstrategy for each bid.
    • Understand and resolvecomplex technical strategic and businessissues.
    • Prepare and review the commercialaspects of the bid ensuring all products / services are included inthe final price to the customer.
    • Risk trackingand management throughout the bidprocess.
    • Contributing to the written proposalboth in terms of content and presentation (such as providingguidance around executive summaries and aligned to key clientobjectives).
    • Manage the bid budget and monitorand report on overall performance againstKPIs
    • Ensure timescales are achieved at eachstep of the bid process including all internal governance whiletaking the initiative in setting realistic deadlines.
    • Ensure ontime submission of compliant andcommercially sound bids.
    • Coordinate and planall client presentations required as part of the bidsubmission.
    • Drive continuous improvementthrough postbid reviews both internally and withcustomers.

    PersonalSpecification

    • 515 years experience inrelevant industry (Degree level desired)
    • Provenability in securing high value work suited to our areas ofexpertise.
    • Strong demonstrable background intender management coordination and delivery of multidisciplinarytenders in Lanpro core sectors.
    • Proven teamleadership skills in officebased and virtual work environments.
    • Excellent communicator and comfortable workingat all levels of experience within senior delivery teams.
    • Sound commercial understanding and profit andloss experience coupled with risk management skills.
    • Ability to manage complex multiworksteamopportunities.
    • Solid understanding andmanagement of internal governance procedures andISO.
