Integration Planning lead - United Kingdom - Three
Description
Lead pre-merger implementation planning for Commercial, focusing on the assessment and analysis of commercial planning within the parameters provided by the Integration Management Office (IMO). The role will support the Commercial Lead on the strategy, orchestration and execution of the commercial aspects of the integration, encompassing brand, marketing, customer experience, products, pricing, propositions, go-to-market strategy, retail and customer operations working closely with the Vodafone commercial team. In particular this role will work across all workstreams focusing on strategic and commercial assessments of the recommendations and outputs.
This role demands strategic thinking, excellent analytical and numerical skills, strong track record of business case production and analysis and an in-depth understanding of the telecommunications industry to drive successful integration, maximising synergies and positive customer and commercial outcomes.
This role is offered on a Fixed Term basis with an anticipated start date of May 2024 and expected duration of 9 – 12 months, subject to CMA approval.
Job Description
• Focusing on the strategic imperatives in the Joint Business Plan, provide the commercial rigour and analysis to validate the commercial decisions on the Commercial workstream, helping with recommendations and commercial assessment of such.
• Working across all workstreams focusing on strategic assessments of the agreed approaches and providing commercial challenge and assessment backed up by data
• Support the development of a comprehensive commercial integration strategy aligned with the overall merger objectives, covering:
o Brand & Marketing (including sub-brands)
o Customer Experience
o Products, Propositions & Pricing
o Retail, Care & Customer Operations
o Go-to-Market & Channels
• Working with the Commercial lead, design the strategy and plan for Customer Day 1, any subsequent customer milestones and the target end state, ensuring the best possible customer experience is maintained in the lead up to closure and through each key Customer milestone.
• Using the 5 year plan and Joint Business Plan as a guide, leading on the creation and management of the commercial KPIs to ensure synergies are delivered
• Support the development of the Commercial integration plan, working collaboratively with internal SME's and Vodafone stakeholders, that ensures the best possible customer and people experience through LD1, CD1 and to the target end state.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure decisions are made with the correct commercial analysis and shared understanding of all impacts
• Create commercial assessment framework of key functions and use cases for MergeCo supported by appropriate KPIs
• Initiate and generate ideas and plans that underpin, and where possible augment, the synergies assumed in the JBP, and refine integration costs calculations associated with the Commercial workstream.
• Support stakeholder engagement related to the Commercial workstream, ensuring relevant stakeholders including executive leadership are consulted and informed throughout, with relevant decisions presented clearly and in a timely manner.
• Work within the parameter set by IMO, ensuring regular reporting is completed as required and represent the Commercial workstream within all the relevant governance forums.
Qualifications
• Proven track record in commercial roles within the telecommunications industry, ideally with experience in mergers and acquisitions and breadth of knowledge across the different Commercial functional areas.
• In-depth understanding of the telecoms industry - market trends, competitive landscape and customer behaviour.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse and develop strategic plans in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, anticipating challenges and identifying opportunities.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to effectively collaborate with executives and other workstream leaders and teams.
• Proficient in analysing multiple data sets to create insights that support decision-making.
