    Overview:
    Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting an established interior/exterior design and contracting company in the appointment of a Senior Business Development Executive. Due to growth within each area of the business and a new businesses due to launch, they now need to bring in an experienced Business Development Executive to look after current clients and develop new clients, to maximise opportunities. It is envisaged that this position will grow and develop over time, with additional responsibilities and direct reports to support the activities. Elevation within the group is very much on offer, with the creation of a central sales & marketing department.

    Key duties and responsibilities

    • This is a new position, and as such, you will need to learn how we operate and be able to review current working methods, our products, services and to enhance customer experiences and develop the uptake of services we offer.
    • Work with our current management team and directly with our clients, both as a team and also individually.
    • Network to promote business via social media, website, and other marketing criteria.
    • Understand our clients, products, and offerings portfolio, and help to build marketing collateral to support the marketing team.
    • Support the current team with ongoing projects and tenders.
    • Perform competitor analysis, gaining knowledge of how each competitor operates.
    • Seek new opportunities, either from previous clients, referrals, or new clients.
    • Focus on generating enhanced profitability, value added benefits, enhanced margins, and improved training methods.
    • Work closely with our current and future clients, to develop relationships across each organisation.
    Persons Specification
    • Self-driven, self-motivated individual that is proactive and takes the lead to excel and make a difference.
    • A leader than can pass on knowledge and skills to our client's sales teams (coach and mentor).
    • Must have excellent attention to detail.
    • Must be creative, innovative, able to listen, absorb and translate information gained and present back to clients.
    • Must have excellent knowledge of latest market trends.
    • Must possess strong organisational and communication skills.
    • Articulate in expressing products and services in written format.
    • Awareness of market trends, buying patterns, and client influences.
    • Confidential with information and strategies shared, to ensure we maintain our market advantages.
